Laura Estandia, Past Bike Miami Valley Executive Director

Laura served as the Executive Director of Bike Miami Valley from 2015 to 2024. She coordinated the launch of Link: Dayton Bike Share which serves more than 3,500 unique users annually. In 2019 She led an effort to evolve the station based bike share program into a smart bike program, while also adding electric bicycles to the Link Dayton fleet. Laura currently serves as a co-chair of the Regional Bikeways Committee and as Vice President of the Montgomery County Arts and Cultural District board. She is a League League Certified Instructor (LCI) through the League of American Bicyclists. Laura graduated from the University of Dayton and formerly served the community as the Executive Director of UpDayton. Laura was recognized as a 2013 “40 Under 40” recipient from Dayton Business Journal and was one of WiBN’s “25 Women to Watch in 2014”.

Daniel Cox, Marketing and Outreach Manager

Daniel began riding and working on bikes shortly before enrolling at Antioch College where he joined their bikeshare program as a mechanic. He fell in love with repairing old steel frame bikes and upgrading their components as a way of instilling new life to the forgotten. After a successful run as manager organizing races, workshops, and expanding the fleet, he decided to travel the country on two wheels eventually returning him to Dayton.

Richard Roberts, Field System Manager

Richard has served the Link: Dayton Bike Share system since 2018. Richard strives to ensure that customers have a great riding experience with the Link system. His favorite TV show is Chicago PD.

  1. Is there a way to register for events or do I just show up? I saw the ABCs of Bike program for next week, and I hope to attend with my partner, but I don’t know if it is sold out.
