Recently inducted into the 2022 class of The Explorers Club 50, Cedeño is globally recognized as one of the year’s 50 explorers changing the world.
Ken McLeod

Ken McLeod
Ken leads policy initiatives to improve bicyclist safety, manages the Bicycle Friendly State program and data.bikeleague.org, and provides technical assistance to people and groups working on state and local initiatives. His goals are to promote policies that take advantage of one of the best technologies ever invented – the bicycle, contribute to a thriving bicycle advocacy community, and help people see the future where a Bicycle Friendly America exists for everyone.

Tom Bilcze is driven by his mantra, “If you ride a bike, you are a cyclist,” Tom passionately advocates for trails and cycling for all. As President of the Ohio to Erie Trail, he champions inclusive, accessible trails that not only connect communities but also transform lives. He envisions trails as powerful engines of economic growth, tourism, and community well-being, empowering both residents and visitors alike.

Angie Schmitt is a Cleveland-based writer and urban planner. She is the author of Right of Way: Race, Class and the Silent Epidemic of Pedestrian Deaths in America, which was published in 2020 by Island Press and named one of the top urban planning books of 2020. She is the founder of 3MPH Planning and Consulting, which works with leading change makers around the country advancing safer policies and infrastructure. Her writing has appeared in Slate, Vox, The New York Times, CNN Business and other publications. She is a mother of two and hasn’t owned her own car in nearly a decade.

Roger Osorio has been a Park Ranger at the Charles Young Buffalo Soldiers National Monument in Wilberforce, Ohio, since September 2021. As of October 2022, he has served as their Education and Outreach Coordinator. In this role, Roger leads the creation of education and interpretation programs and builds relationships with local school and community groups.
